The black, spring-loaded Autopoleoffers a unique "expanding casting" that provides pressure for holding the Autopolein place between door jambs, in window frames, or between floors and ceilings. Use it to clamp various lighting, background, or grip equipment to it with full confidence. It extends from 8 to 15.5 ft, and weighs 7 lb.
Note:
Because tubing can sag over long lengths and when weight is added, the Autopolemay become loose and could come down. It is therefore recommended that vertical Autopoles with two Super Mafer Clamps mounted at right angles with the use of a #209635 Swivel be used at each end to support the horizontal Autopole. To avoid damage to the wall or ceiling, Autopoles should only be used directly in line with studs.
